A private, small-group mentorship for licensed professionals navigating complex, multidimensional cases.
After 16 years in clinical practice, one of the things I’ve come to appreciate most is that knowledge alone rarely creates confidence.
We can learn protocols, attend trainings, study mechanisms, and collect more tools- but when a complex patient is sitting in front of us, the real question is often:
Where do I begin? What matters most right now? And what can wait?
So much of my own clinical work has become about prioritization, pattern recognition, sequencing, and learning to see the whole person without becoming overwhelmed by the complexity.
That is the heart behind this mentorship.
I’m intentionally keeping this circle small because I don’t want it to feel like a course or a large group program. I want us to have enough space to bring forward real cases, think through clinical decision-making together, ask nuanced questions, explore different approaches, and learn through application.
My hope is that over these four months, you develop greater confidence in your own clinical reasoning while also becoming part of a trusted circle of licensed professionals with whom you can continue to learn, collaborate, and grow.
This is less about me giving you “the answer” and more about helping you strengthen the way you see, prioritize, discern and make decisions in complex cases.
These will be highly interactive and centered around clinical application, case discussion, prioritization, questions, and the real-world challenges you’re encountering in practice.
Because the group will remain intentionally small, there will be meaningful opportunity to bring cases forward and explore them together, not simply listen passively to teaching.
My current clinical schedule is generally Tuesday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM Mountain Time.
As schedules permit, and only when appropriate patient permission and privacy requirements are fully in place, there may be opportunities to observe selected telemedicine visits and see clinical reasoning applied in real time. Shadowing opportunities cannot be guaranteed and will depend on scheduling, patient consent, licensure/privacy requirements, and appropriateness of the visit.
We’ll maintain a WhatsApp group for connection and informal communication between sessions.
I’m also leaning toward Slack for organized clinical questions and ongoing discussions so that important conversations remain searchable and easy to revisit. We can decide together what works best for the group.
All mentorship recordings and supporting materials will live in a private portal so you can return to conversations and teachings throughout the mentorship.

Virtual Classes with Access to Transcripts and Recordings
by Dr Christine Schaffner
Over the course of four months, we'll meet as a small group for mentorship, discussion, and clinical exploration.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from my experience, bring your own questions and cases into the conversation, and connect with a small community of like-minded practitioners.
This is an intimate experience, intentionally created for the practitioners I've personally invited to join me.
